This is the `card-tools' release for 2003.7.20 The Community Cards project proposes that small cards with wants and needs written on either side can help us make friends and help one another. Please visit http://cards.sourceforge.net/ for more information. One card is provided, `cards/example'. You can obtain cards of real people and groups, for use with this software, from: http://cards.sourceforge.net/downloads/cards.tgz To build the `Cards.pdf' file, type `make'. You can also make sheets for individual cards. To make a sheet of four copies of card `example', type make pdf/example.pdf `cardpack' can combine any cards you want on a sheet: make foo.texcard bar.texcard ./cardpack cards/foo 1 cards/bar 3 > foobar.tex make pdf/foobar.pdf would pack 1 copy of card `foo' and 3 of card `bar' onto a single sheet in the file `foobar.pdf'. There a bug in our LaTeX code that causes LaTeX to emit spurious warnings, and break lines at the wrong places sometimes. Please fix it if you can, and explain to us what we're doing wrong. You can create a card using our online create form: http://cards.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/create or you can do it `by hand' with a text editor. The `search', `view', `create' and `edit' programs are the CGI-scripts from the website. Have fun! Sam Watkins
